Sarah Michelle Gellar Thanks Shannen Doherty for Pandemic Support To Her Children

Sarah Michelle Gellar feels thankful for her longtime friend Shannen Doherty helping her during the pandemic.

On a recent episode of Shannen Doherty’s show, Let’s Be Clear, Sarah Michelle Gellar, who is known for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, joined her friend Shannen Doherty to talk about their experiences during the pandemic. Gellar thanked Doherty for helping her family during that tough time. Gellar has two kids, Charlotte, who is 14, and Rocky, who is 11, with her husband Freddie Prinze Jr.

Gellar said, “You really made a difference for my kids during COVID. I was struggling to give them a normal life during the pandemic, and you opened your home to us. I’ll always be grateful for that. You gave them fun and freedom when things were tough. I can never thank you enough.”

Gellar mentioned how Doherty helped her kids with their online classes during the pandemic and even organized fun activities for them during blackouts.

She said, “It was a special time, even though it was stressful. I don’t want to go through homeschooling again, but I miss the slower pace sometimes. It was nice to spend that time with my kids.”

Last month, Gellar went to a Los Angeles Chargers game with her son Rocky. During the game, Rocky got a bit carried away when they appeared on the big screen. He started dancing, and Gellar had to tell him to calm down.

Gellar also shared photos from her recent family vacation on Instagram. She captioned the first set of photos as “Vacation photo dump part one” and the second set as “Vacation dump #2 – family and friends.”
