Following Olivia Newton-John’s untimely death in August 2022, her family has not stopped grieving for the late actress. Chloe Rose Lattanzi, the daughter of Olivia Newton-John, disclosed her mother’s last words six months after her passing.
It was Lattanzi’s first televised interview since Newton-John’s death, and John Easterling, Newton-John’s second husband, joined her. Lattanzi revealed to them that her mother maintained her sense of humor right up until the very end.
“She was telling jokes before she lost her ability to speak,” the person remarked. “My sunshine,” Newton-John said to Lattanzi in her final words. Newton-John passed away at the age of 73 after fighting breast cancer for 30 years. Lattanzi revealed another precious mother-daughter moment in August 2022, a few days after her mother passed away. She shared a video of her and her mother singing their duet “Window in the Wall” in a studio.
In the video, Newton-John looked sophisticated in a blue-gray long-sleeve blouse, loose brown slacks, a black necklace with a silver charm, and black eyeglasses, while Lattanzi donned informal clothes, including a brown long-sleeved crop top and baggy jeans. They sang together, grinning and giving each other hugs. Mama, you are my guiding light. Being your kid and best friend has been an honor for me, and I will continue to be so.
Everyone you come into contact with is fortunate because you are an angel on earth. I will always love you, mama, my teacher, and the source of my life. Newton: Actor Matt Lattanzi, John’s first husband, was also the father of her only child, Lattanzi. The actress married the businessman, Easterling, after their breakup. Easterling sent a message on her Facebook and Instagram profiles to confirm Newton-John’s demise.
