“Miss Americana”: Taylor Swift talked about her overcoming issues in her documentary

Fans rarely come across Taylor Swift in a swimsuit

Probably no one looks as good in a high-waisted bikini as Taylor Swift. She rarely appears in a swimsuit, but when she does, she gets in the spotlights. Usually celebrities show off their attractive figure in swimsuits or tight clothes. However, Taylor stays quiet about her figure and appearance in general, although once she has spoken about her overcoming issues.

“I wasn’t sure if I would feel comfortable talking about my body image and everything I’ve gone through that was unhealthy for me. I mean my relationship with food over the years”, said Taylor in her 2022 interview to Variety. The interview referred to her “Miss Americana” documentary.

“But when Lana Wilson [the films director] talks about it, it makes sense. I’m not really good at talking on this topic. There are many people that can do this better than me.

All I know is my own experience. My relationship with food had the same psychology that I use with everything else in my life. If I was given a pat on the head, I registered that as good. If I was given a punishment, I registered that as bad”.

During her successful career, Taylor has given empowering and motivating quotes to her fans about maturing. In March 2019, Taylor appeared on the cover of Elle magazine and shared some things that she had learned before turning 30.

“Social media can be great, but it can also inundate your brain with images of what you aren’t, how you’re failing, or who is in a cooler locale than you at any given moment. There is one thing I do to decrease the weird insecurity laser beam: I turn off the comments. This way I keep my friends and fans updated, but I also train my brain to not need anyone’s validation on how I look”.

The artist also encouraged her fans to always have fun, especially when it comes to dressing up.

“Fashion is a playful experimentation. If you do not have old and cringe photos to look back at, than you are doing it wrong”. Here Taylor referred to her bleach blonde hair era, which got the name “Bleachella”.
