“I can’t walk, but I can fly”: this girl with no legs became an amazing gymnast and found her sister

Jen Bricker-Bauer came into this world without legs. Her biological mother left her, but the girl was lucky: soon an amazing family adopted her.

Since childhood her adoptive parents taught her not be afraid of anything. Jen obeyed them. So, even at a young age she could play basketball, volleyball on par with her peers and later even became a gymnast.

And the doctors told the girl wouldn’t be able to not only walk, but also sit down on her own. But she believed in herself. Moreover, her parents did everything for her to feel healthy. So Jen learned to walk on her hands no worse than others walking on their feet.

When the girl was only 8, she got into gymnastics. All because in 1996 she was watching Olympics without a break, and cheered for her favorite sportsman –  Dominique Moceanu. Imagine how surprised she was, when she found out Dominique was her sister.

Motivated Jen started to train hard and achieved success. After all, no one believed the girl without legs could manage to do this much. However, she became a champion and proved that everything is possible.

Now Jen has grown up, she’s a professional acrobat and does so incredible thing in the air, that even sportsmen with legs are not able to. Besides, she got close to her biological family and is happy.

Jen even got married to the man she loves, and they are planning to have babies soon. In the end, let’s just wish this strong girl heights of success!
