Actor Hugh Laurie was spotted taking his cherished puppy for a walk in the sunshine. He didnât appear to be the outgoing guy he usually was. For the premiere of his new sitcom, Why Didnât They Ask Evans?, Hugh had dressed warmly. putting on black sneakers and tights, a navy sweatshirt, and a dark blue cap. The 62-year-old actor is currently working on a murder mystery that is based on the 1934 Agatha Christie novel of the same name, even though he is best known for his appearances in Blackadder and House. Hollywoodâs elite are spotted wearing the star-studded outfits, and the movie seems to be an intriguing adaptation of one of Christieâs most well-known pieces.
Frances Derwent portrays Lady Frances Derwent, her brave companion, and Will Poulter plays Bobby Jones, the son of a vicar. Together, they investigate an enigmatic murder. Jim Broadbent and Emma Thompson, respectively, represent Lady Frances Marchamâs aristocratic parents. Hugh plays Dr. James Nicholson, the psychotherapist, and also directs the miniseries.
He stated how excited he was to work on this project and how, even as a young man, he had appreciated this novel and its captivating mystery, which had piqued his curiosity. I am grateful for the opportunity to write and tell the stories of this amazing group of people once more. I have developed a deep appreciation for this job.
