According to her family, the pregnant model, 31, was brutally slain ‘in a battle’ that left her too damaged for an open burial. She was unexpectedly found dead in her Los Angeles apartment last month.
On September 12, Maleesa Mooney was discovered dead—two days after the body of a second black model—less than three miles away. The person responsible for the horrific deed is still wanted by the police.
The most recent horrifying information on the unexplained death was disclosed by Mooney’s sister, Jourdine Pauline.
She sobbed as she stated, “She was in a struggle; both of her ankles were broken—her hands, her legs.” These are graphic details. She was having difficulty. It took some time for it to happen.
Pauline said, “All I know is that it was a torturous act.” “You know that they (the suspect) did more than one thing to her body?” Not even the cops can determine exactly what took her. The mortician reportedly sobbed after witnessing Mooney’s severe beating and informed the family that it was too upsetting for them to view the body.
Although they tried their hardest to “put her together,” the coffin had to be closed. The mortician said it was so traumatizing that they didn’t even want us to see her.
Since authorities have not disclosed any information regarding the offender or perpetrators involved in Mooney’s death, the crime remains unsolved evidence of forced entry was present. It’s still unclear how the murderer entered the building and whether the suspect was someone Mooney knew.
Two days before Mooney’s death, on September 10, Nichole ‘Nikki’ Coats, a 32-year-old model, was discovered dead. Coats’ South Grand Avenue apartment was the scene of the gory discovery of her death.
